Big Brother

Daniel learned something new this week - that he can pick on his little brother. It is somewhat concerning. He has been hitting Jack and has been pushing him down - picture Jack crawling up near Daniel and Daniel putting his hand on his head & shoving him down. Poor Jack. I think he just wants to be doing what Dan is doing. I wonder if all siblings are like this, or if it is just boys, or just my boys? Any suggestions on quelling the burgeoning sibling rivalry are welcome.
Jackson is beginning to be interested in pulling himself up on things. His legs aren't quite strong enough to stand up himself yet, but he will try and get one leg under him. I am positive he'll have it mastered in no time. It is funny how Jackson is so active & is mastering physical skills already that it took Daniel months longer to accomplish. I guess being small & having a small head counts for something.
This week was our first with 9 am church. It wasn't so bad, even considering I was on my own with the boys since Gary is off playing Army. I thought it would be great to be home in time for the boys regular nap time, but that didn't mean they would be willing to actually take the naps... oh, well. Daniel really likes his new Nursery leaders, at least the Sisters. Sister DeGraff told me today that he really likes Cheez-it crackers. She said last week in Nursery he was scarfing them down like he was starving. I guess I'll have to pick some up next time I'm grocery shopping.
