New Year, New Skill

Jackson learned a new skill today. He can now get himself into a sitting position from a crawling position. He has been on the verge for a few days now, but today he finally conquered his rogue leg that always is in the way.
We celebrated New Years Eve last night with our families. Both set of our parents and Susan came over for Chinese food & a movie. We made sweet & sour pork, sesame stir-fried veggies and date wontons. After dinner we watched Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest. (IMO, not as good as the first Pirates.) I spent today doing some New Years cleaning and grocery shopping. Gary played Civilization for a good part of the morning and worked on our new back room for most of the rest. I will be so glad when it is done and we have a little extra storage space.
