3-Day Potty Training

This past weekend we hit the potty training hard. I found this ebook called 3-day potty training on the web and thought I'd give it a shot. A week later, Dan is still not totally potty trained, but getting better everyday. He made it through church this morning without an accident. The 3-day method has yo totally abandon diapers and go to underpants. Dan went through 15 pairs of underpants the first day. He has been going through fewer and fewer each day since. He can go for a few hours a a time between potty trips now. He is really good about not wetting the bed. He has only been wet twice in the morning and I think those times were because I didn't come and get him soon enough. I still need to remind him all day to tell me when he has to go potty, but he is getting better & that is encouraging.
His top lip has healed from the sippy cup incident. Though this last week he was trying to climb the toy shelf & fell and bit his lower lip. Such is the life of a two-year old. I think Daniel is a little accident prone due to his large head - he has the head size of a 5- or 6-year old! Big brain - right?
Daniel has been hitting Jackson less lately. Now he lays on him. Jack thinks it is funny at first, then he starts getting angry. Jack definitely has a temper. Dan had better watch out! Jackson will be a year old in less than a month. I have been reading over the entries of the past year & it is amazing how fast time has gone, And how much both boys have progressed.
