Daniel has a new favorite movie - Disney's Cars. He will watch it every day, sometimes twice a day if we let him. It is amazing - mostly because he actually sits through most of the full-length feature instead of loosing interest half an hour into it. Frequently, after his daily dose of the Pixar magic, he will sit & play with his hot wheels for the rest of the day. He pretends that they are characters from the movie (though he only has two that actually are), and they have conversations with him & each other. Very cute to watch. Cars is very definitely a favorite.
I signed Daniel up for another Global Artways class yesterday. As his dance class is coming to a close, we are going to try an Art class this time. He really does enjoy going to dance, so maybe we will do that class again sometime. There is also a music class I would like him to try, and when he gets older there are more classes in the program. I am almost positive he will jump for joy when he is old enough to have swimming lessons and play peewee soccer.
Currently both boys are battling an RSV-type virus. Jackson caught it first & it has been miserable for him, poor baby. He also got an ear infection on top of it. So he is on antibiotics for the ear infection & a breathing treatment for the virus. He does seem to be somewhat better today. Daniel has a less-intense form of the virus, his worst symptom being a congested cough. Hopefully they will recover in time for an Easter egg hunt. Jackson also sprouted two new teeth this week - that makes 10 (and I think there are two more coming).
We sold out minivan last weekend. "Charlie" served us well, but it was time to part & look for another in better health. We are once again a one-car family, though Gary is lucky enough to have his Dad truck on loan to use.
We were privileged enough to witness my nephew Tyler's first steps on Sunday at FHE. It was so exciting! He was standing in front of his dad, and he saw Jack and got so excited he just started walking towards him! Jeff (Ty's dad) was so shocked! We had him practicing all night after that! It got me so excited for Jackson upcoming first steps.
