I often wonder at Daniel's level of coherence when he talks to us. It seems as though he speaks better than some kids his age, and not so well as others. He is getting better at carrying on a conversation though. Today I noticed he was very quiet while riding in the van & I asked him if he was okay. He says "Jus' fine. "'Ank you." How cute, and so polite! He is better able to express himself & ask questions lately too. It is nice to know what he wants instead of trying to decipher crying, like we have to do with JakJak. We're trying to teach Jack the basic signs Daniel learned at his age, but there is no progress so far. He (and Papa) just depend on Mama to know what he needs.
