Jak picked up a new nickname yesterday. Not because he has taken to biting but because Daniel has taken to biting him. Poor guy. Daniel likes to lay on him when he doesn't want Jak to do something (not something we encourage by the way). Yesterday Dan was laying on him, trying to prevent him from looking into the DVD case. I separated them & they went on their ways. Jak required some cuddles, but was fine afterwards. Just a little bit later Jak was crying again & when he came to me for comfort he had a big ol' bite mark on his forehead! Needless to say, Dan was sent to time out with a spank. Fast-forward to last night. Gary was getting Jak ready for bed & when he pulled up his shirt he noticed a big bruise on his back. He asked me what it was and upon close inspection, it was another bite mark! It is quite large too. No wonder he was so upset when Dan was laying on him - Dan was biting him too! We will have to curb this new action quickly, before Jak has permanent scars.

Sounds like a little boy that was used to a lot of attention and all of a sudden has found himself having to share with his younger brother. Consistent and positive enforcement of good behavior is needed. The last thing you want is for Dan to act up just to get attention.
You would think that after having had to share attention with Jak for 15 months now he would have gotten used to it!
Wow! Poor Jack! Give him a big hug from Aunt Suzy!!!!!
