We went to the Utah Arts Festival last night with Susan. A great time was had by all. Well, the boys didn't have a great time at first - they were so hot that the sweat dripping down their foreheads was also carrying their sunscreen into their eyes. We had a few people comment on how sad they were. Poor kids! We remedied the situation after getting them to the shade & wiping them down with napkins. After that, they had a good time.
As usual, there was a lot of fun art & music. My cousin, Ben Behunin, actually had a booth with some of his amazing pottery. His was the first booth you hit when you entered the festival. We were given one of his bowls as a wedding gift & would really like to have some more of his work. We enjoyed exploring the festival. Half the time I was pushing an empty double stroller while the boys explored with Papa & Susan. The boys really enjoyed playing in the toddler yard & in the Art Yard, where they could make their own art. They came home with two different music makers each & some fun glasses. Daniel got a kick out of painting on the community art pieces.
Some of my favorite pieces were the scrap metal sculptures. One sculptor there made these funny little goblins & had a piece where there were two of them carrying off a garden gnome.

I really like the sunglasses. What were they made out of.
