Chalk Art Festival

Yesterday evening we took the boys to the Chalk Art Festival at the Gateway. It was a free event held as a fundraiser for the Utah Foster Care Foundation. They had some great art, good music & chalk for the kids to draw with too. I think the boys had a good time.
Friday & Saturday Gary took Daniel to our Stake Fathers & Sons camping trip. Gary said that Daniel had a good time, his absolute favorite activity being throwing rocks off the bridge into the river. He also had a grand time running around the stage with the other little kids (until he collided with another kid!) He only had one wet accident, so he did really well! The travel potty came in handy - that way Gary didn't have to hold him over the gross latrine seat. They had a banana carving contest (The theme being The Restoration), but no pictures of that. They both came home smelling like a campfire, but happy. This evening we are going to celebrate Fathers Day with our families. The boys gave Gary a new shirt & tie for the big day & I gave him a new pair of shoes.

I like the banana carving contest. Is that something we could do at the reunion?
