Chocolate Chip Cookies!!

Daniel helped me make chocolate chip cookies last night for the first time. I let him dump the dry ingredients into the mixer and he did really well. He only spilled a tiny bit once. He loved being able to help & loved the final even more. I tried a new recipe and they are some of the best chocolate chip cookies I've had in a long time. Soft & scrumptious! The recipe can be found on our recipe blog. Notice the home-grown produce on the counter in the photo - yes, the humongous potato came from our garden! We also have lots of green tomatoes and a few good size green pumpkins. The time may soon come when we will need to harvest them & let them ripen inside. I dropped my phone tonight and now it is on the fritz. So, if you call me & I don't answer that is (probably) why. Hopefully they can fix it for me at Sprint tomorrow.
