Pumpkins

Tonight we carved pumpkins for Family Home Evening. We picked the four pumpkins from our garden last week & have been waiting for them to ripen. Well, they are still green, but we carved them any way. We now have a Franken-pumpkin, pirate pumpkin (in honor of the boys Halloween garb), a scared pumpkin & one with our name carved into it occupying our front steps. The boys seemed to enjoy watching us carve & they loved seeing the pumpkins all lit up in the dark. Tomorrow I am going to roast the seeds from the pumpkins. Yum!
