Ward Talent Show

Our ward had a talent show tonight. It was great! We have some real talent in our ward. In addition to the program they had tables set up around the cultural hall for people to display their non-performance talents. We took one of my drawings, Gary's book about Pedro's House remodeling, & a couple of the birth announcements I've designed lately. Daniel sang his ABC's as part of the program. He did so well! He sang them loud (but not too loud) and clear & didn't make any mistakes. I was holding the microphone & could see he was shaking like a leaf, but no one else could see it. I'm not sure if the shaking was fear or excitement. I was laughing (silently) so hard I had tears in my eyes. Part of my tearing up was probably due to my being so darn proud of him. You can see Dan sing here. After Dan sang Jackson came over & wanted a turn too. I'm not sure what he would have done if I had let him have the microphone. We'll have to prepare something for both of them next time.
