We have had a somewhat uneventful week here in Salt Lake. Gary and I did get in two dates this past Friday & Saturday. That was a treat! Friday we had Japanese food at our favorite little place, Koko Kitchen (Mmmmm... spicy California rolls!) then went to an event for Room to Read at the library. It was the kick-off for their Salt Lake Chapter. It really sounds like a great program. Gary's brother Eric & his girlfriend Leia are volunteers for the organization, which builds schools, & libraries in developing countries as well as publishing native language children's literature.
Saturday night we received 4 tickets to the Jazz game from a member of our ward & went with Gary's brother Russ & his daughter Ashley. It was a good game & we enjoyed the night out again.
Sunday was rough. Jack was in a royal bad mood all morning & I ended up with a fat lip after the struggle to get him dressed for church. I almost kept him home. He finally calmed down after his second cup of milk. I was pleasantly surprised to see an inactive sister I visit teach at church. She even bore her testimony in sacrament meeting. Very encouraging. Less encouraging was the behavior of my Sunday School class. All 6 boys were there & were very hyper. Two of them, in particular, do not get along & one of these ended up leaving early. Evidently there was a fight involving him after church & his mom said she would never come back to church. Very not good. I hate to say it, but I am looking forward to January when some of these boys move on to the next class.
We have 11 weeks until our baby is due. And that is if he doesn't come 3 weeks early like his brother. It is a little scary, considering the current state of our house (under construction) and my general preparedness. I have numerous sewing projects I would like to work on, but I have no place to set up my machine right now. Anyone have some extra table space I can borrow??

space - let's see. Perhaps you can set up downstairs. This will allow the boys to watch tv while you work.
What I need to do is get everything cut so all I have to do is sew. Then I may take you up on that.
