We hosted a party this past Friday night for some of our friends here in the Ward. All total, including kids, we had 10 guests & lots of yummy food. We dined on a variety of appetizers and desserts, all washed down with pomegranate 7-up (now that is some good stuff!). We let the kids play in the boy's room and the adults sat around and talked until around 10 pm. The boys were thoroughly worn out by the time the last party-goers left. I do believe they were asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillows (or mattress in Jack's case). Their room was less of a disaster than I expected (thanks Jason!) and we were left with very few leftovers to pack into the fridge. It was a really nice get together. It should happen more often.
Gary started his new job at WesTech Engineering today. He is a Construction Estimator. I am not sure if that is his "official" title, but that is what he is doing. The company is located about a mile down the road from us, which makes for a quick commute & frequent lunch trips home. It will be nice for Gary to be able to stop by & see us during the day. Nice for us too.
Less than a month now until the baby is due. Holy cow! I still have to get the car seat out of storage, find someplace to store his clothes (which are still in storage)... We need to get busy! Can you guess what we'll be doing New Years Day? Packing up Christmas & unpacking baby! Exciting stuff. I have my next doctor appointment on Wednesday & I'm hoping that all the discomfort & contractions I've been having lately have been doing something besides be incredibly annoying.

Your party sounds like fun. Congrats to Gary on the new job! That is so nice that he can come home for lunch.
Thanks for the party. The Jones are great. Good luck at work, Gary.
