Quiet

Ah... the moment of peace when both toddlers are napping & the baby is happy nursing himself into a milk-drunken state.

Never mind the fact that it took two hours for those toddlers to go to sleep, or that Daniel is on his seventh pair of underwear today. *sigh* Just when I think he is on the homeward stretch of potty training. He hasn't had a day this bad in a long time, just an accident here or there. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I put the Monsters, Inc. cup dispenser in the bathroom, within his reach, and he can now get a drink of water whenever his little heart desires. Or ten drinks in a row. Yeah, that might have something to do with it. I know he has the capacity to hold his pee-pee for long periods of time and make good use of the potty when nature calls. That is what irritates me.
I started hanging pictures in the house yesterday. I am actually taking the time to plan them out & hang them right this time around. I even measured & calculated exact placement of the nails. (Yes, it's sad isn't it?) The place is finally starting to feel sort of home-y.
Next on my to-do list is to get Evan's 3-6 month clothes unpacked. He is just about ready to switch over from the 0-3 month size. Already! It seems like he was just barely fitting into the newborn size. I will have to try & get his 0-3 month portraits done here soon. Either at Target with their free 8x10" deal, or take them myself. He hasn't had professional portraits done yet, so I may have to take him in. I'd like to take him to Kiddie Kandids but that isn't in the budget this month.

How frustrating potty training can be. I hate that part of being a mother. They seem to go through phases once in a while. It's just that the bad phases are more noticeable. Quiet moments are such blessing. I refer them as sanity moments. I tend to read a lot whenever those rare moments come. Enjoy them while they last!

LOL, that's funny that you used the phrase, "pee-pee" instead of just Pee... LOL!! You crack me up!
