Some of you long-time readers of our blog should remember that Dan is a big McDonald's fan. He has gotten past the stage where he cried every time we passed the restaurant and didn't stop. He still tried to finagle his way into a Happy Meal by telling us he's hungry when we drive by. Tonight he tried another tactic. His conversation with Gary was as follows:
Dan: Papa, do you know McDonald's?
Gary: Yeah
Dan: Do you love McDonald's?
Gary: Not really.
Dan: Do you love their fries?
Gary: Nope.
Dan: Do you love their hamburgers and fries?
Gary: Nope.
Dan: They're good for you.

Eli is also a fan of McDonalds. Whenever I ask him if we wants a cheeseburger or nuggets his response is a cheeseburger AND nuggets. I wonder why kids never like Burger King or Wendy's as much as McDonalds.
