Last Tuesday Evan was officially six months old. Six months old already! How time flies! I took him in for his six-month pictures today. These were the first professional pictures he's had - I have been a major slacker. I also had Daniel's four-year pictures taken and one of all three boys together. I am quite please with how they turned out. I didn't get my traditional six-month pose with Evan (in his diaper under a towel) because he wouldn't cooperate. Maybe I can get him to do it at home. I finally got word that the authorization for Evan's helmet came though. I take him in tomorrow morning to be casted. That should be fun with all three boys in tow! I'll try to get photos, but can't promise anything good. His helmet will take two weeks to be made. We go in for the fitting of the helmet on July 29th.
Daniel is going through another biting phase. Friday night he got mad at Jackson for touching his toys and bit hit quite hard right on the apple of his cheek. Jackson got a nasty dark red mark, and Daniel got in big trouble. It was the second time that week he had bitten Jackson. I thought we had gotten past the stage, but it has returned. We are almost at our wit's end on how to curb it. Any successful methods?

Love the pictures!
Bitting is so hard to deal with. I have had a few kids in the past that have been bitters and it almost seems nothing worked the way how it should. One of them was my niece and she ended up having to go somewhere else because of the bitting. Sorry that I don't have any real suggestions.
I LOVE the dimple on your youngest ... what a doll! And the three together is just precious.
I'm so sorry about the biting thing ... we're dealing with hitting at our house. C won't hit anyone but me, which is good for everyone else, not so hot for me. And we're in the same boat as you, nothing will work! If by some miracle we stumble onto something that does work, I'll pass it on to you.
One thing we have noticed, however, is that if Matt doles out the exact same punishment that I do, it sticks a LOT longer. What if Gary dealt with the biting as much as possible?
I can't believe how blonde Jackson is compared to the other two. How adorable! Jayden went through the phase of hitting his head really hard on the floor or anything he could get his head on. I swear he was going to break his skull but he eventually wore out of it. I guess there's just some things that they have to learn for themselves. At least Jayden's was self inflicting and he wasn't hurting other kids. I'm sorry I don't have real advice. Hang in there, I can't see him biting people at age 10.
They're so cute! I'm glad you got some good professional pictures.
