I was nursing Evan to sleep in the boys room tonight. Daniel sat up in bed and I asked him what he was doing. "Feeding Tigger" he says. I had to smile because I could picture what he was doing though I couldn't see him clearly in the dark. He was sitting there with his pajama top lifted, Tigger's mouth pressed up against his belly button. Observant, that kid.
Here are a couple of photos of Evan in his decorated helmet. I decided just to put his name on it. He is adjusting to it pretty well, though his head hasn't quite acclimated to it completely. He should sweat less once it does, and I have seen improvement the past couple of days. I took him in for a follow-up visit today and they trimmed a bit off under the velcro & added a bit of padding over his ear.
On the potty training front Jackson does well at going potty if I remind him every half hour or so and take him potty then. He isn't doing so well at telling me he has to go. Usually he tells me after he's wet (or worse) in his pants. The only times he has actually told me he has to go before he goes in his pants is when he is supposed to be sleeping. Maybe he just doesn't have anything else to do so he recognizes the signals better. Or, he just wants to get out of bed for a minute.
