In on the secret

It is so fun to be "in" on a secret. Last night Gary and I went to his unit's Military Ball. We sat at a table with three other couples. When one of the couples left for a moment, the others told us that he was going to propose to her that night and she didn't know. He told her that he was getting an award and she had to present it to him. She was so nervous. It was fun to see her all nervous as she walked up to present him with this award and to see her reaction when he opened the "award case" to show her a ring. It was cute.
We had a nice time at the ball. It was at UVU's Grand Ballroom. They had good food, a funny improv comedy group and a killer band (especially considering they were Army!). The also didn't take forever handing out awards, which was nice. It was an enjoyable evening away from the kiddos. And, my dress fit (barely).
