Achievement

Evan took his first steps last night! Gary's parents stopped by to pick up their doggie on their way home from the airport and Evan decided he would show off. He took three or four steps at a time, until he tired of it. I knew he was close, he can stand independently for minutes on end and cruises all over the place. I'll have to try and get it on camera - mine seems to have gone kaput. ;(
Daniel is making great stride in his reading. I think he is reading by recognition - he is learning how to recognize words from memory. He does try to sound words out sometimes though. He did really well last night when Gary had him help read the bedtime story. He read a good portion of it without help. I am so proud of him.
