Scout-A-Rama

Today the whole family went to Scout-A-Rama for the first time. None of us had been before! It was fun for the boys. Daniel has been asking us about it for the past week - what we would do there, what we would eat, if they had a trampoline... He has been excited. He loves anything scout related. The boys got to do fun crafts and games. Coach Wittingham and four of the Utah football players were there so each boy got their hat signed by all five of them. The one player I recognized name-wise was Stevenson Sylvester. That was neat (for me at least!) Gary saw an old friend and was given 10 Bees baseball tickets. They had a big train display and lego display that the boys just loved. Daniel circled the train display about 50 times. Jack had his first "lost child" experience. We turned around and he was gone! He had wandered off and it took us a minute to find him, with the help of others. He was pretty scared, but got over it quickly. Hopefully it scared him enough not to do it again.
You are probably wondering where the pictures are. None. I didn't forget my camera - it died! Figures it would die right before Scout-A-Rama and Trisha's blessing and Dan's field trip to the zoo. Ugh! Luckily, we visited Gary's parents tonight and they are letting me borrow their camera for the blessing and the zoo. I have a new battery on order from ebay and I am hoping that it fixes the problem.
Tammy made a comment on the last post about our new car seats lasting longer and it being a blessing in disguise. That is so true! I had noticed the other day when I was cleaning the van that Daniel's seat expires in December. Now I don't have to worry about expiration dates for 6 years! ( for Daniel's seat when we convert it to a booster. That should last through Jack at least. Blessings come in strange packages sometimes.
I found the yummiest treat at Costco. They are Toasted Coconut Cashews and they are divine. If any one out there is looking for a yummy Mother's Day gift - get some! I certainly wouldn't mind getting a bag (hint, hint).

GD121: I am grateful that we put the boy's red Utes hats on them today. It made it easier for us to keep track of them.
WFD: Nothing (Fast Sunday tomorrow!)
