Gingerbread Houses

The boys and I made our annual gingerbread houses yesterday. I spent a couple of hours the night before baking the pieces for their houses, then yesterday they decided they wanted graham cracker houses instead. So I used one of the gingerbread houses to decorate and they went to town on their graham cracker houses.

I think Jack's goal was to use every single piece of candy I gave him on his house. He got pretty close too, until he ran out of icing.

Evan ate more than made it onto his house. Notice the chocolate stain around his mouth.

Daniel was pretty methodical about placing the candy right where he wanted it, then was finished. I love this little tradition of ours!
