Christmas Day actually ended up starting for us around 8 am. That is when Jackson got up and woke the rest of us. The boys couldn't wait (of course), so we started by opening gifts. Evan loved unwrapping things. I don't think he even stopped to look twice at what he had unwrapped until he was done. Then he helped Mama & Papa unwrap, the went back and looked.
Each of the boys was happy with their gifts. Daniel got a Didj and was was excited about it. He played it and carried it with him for the remainder of the day and showed it to everyone. He was also pretty excited about his new pajamas and sweatshirt. Jack got a set of Trio blocks and Color Wonder sets he was excited about, and Evan got a Thomas the Train set.
After we opened presents we got ready for breakfast. Grandma & Grandpa came out and we feasted on cranberry-eggnog muffins, bacon and eggs, and fresh oranges.
In the afternoon we headed over to Granny & Opa's for a couple of hours. We opened gifts with them, and Cathy and Michael.
We ended the day at Grandma and Grandpa's. We had a great Christmas dinner and ended the evening with more gifts, and dessert. I think fun was had by all.
I am really grateful that we live so close to all of our families and can spend the holidays with them!
