Cochise County Fair

We took Daniel to the Cochise County Fair in Douglas yesterday. We all enjoyed it. Daniel got to pet a horse and he found out that he can, after all, crawl on the grass. We took Daniel through all of the animal exhibits. I think he liked them quite a bit. We also saw a little of the Cochise College Rodeo and Gary found a really old, working, 1.5 hp engine he really liked. We ate the carnival food - Gary had a Gyro and I had a corndog with some yummy potatoes. I've never seen them before - really thinly spiral sliced potatoes that were deep fried. They were really good and wouldn't be too hard to make if we could get the machine they used to cut them. It kind of looked like an apple peeler. All in all, it was a fun day and Dan zonked on the way home.
