Sleepy boy

It was Daniels 14-month birthday yesterday. He must have really worn himself out at the mall. He took two cat naps on the drive to and from Tucson so I didn't force him to take a nap once we got home, maybe I should have. When I gave him his dinner later that night he ate it, then I gave him half a shortbread cookie and let him eat it in his highchair while I wrote an email. Gary came in from outside and asked me why Dan was sleping in his highchair. He was so pooped he had fallen asleep without even finishing his cookie! It was only 6:30! It was so cute. He's never done that before. I let him sleep in our bed with Max for a while, then got him changed into his jammies and into bed. He had an early bedtime last night. This weekend is the Cochise County fair. Gary and I are hoping to take Dan after Gary gets done with his Army stuff in the morning. They have their "dining in" tonight, so Dan and I will have the house to ourselves.
