Conference Saturday

Today was the first day of General Conference. It started at 9 am for us. We went to the ward building for the first session and listened to the second session at home on the radio. I thought they were both very good. Dan was a good boy during the morning session - much better than I was expecting. Afterwards we found out that they had another room with a TV where the kids could play, etc. Maybe we'll utilize it tomorrow.
We had lunch in between sessions at Guten Appetit, one of the German places here in town. I had a salami sandwich and cup of vegetable soup. It was so good! I definitely know what I'm having next time we go there. I was very tempted to buy the ingredients so I could a sandwich myself at home.
After the afternoon session of conference we went to a local art fest they're having here in town called "Art in the Park". It was pretty neat and they had a lot of vendors. We bought a christmas tree ornament to remind us of the summer we spent in Arizona. We also bought some yummy dip mixes. They also has a really neat kitchen butcher block table we both really liked. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to get home so Gary could go the Priesthood meeting.
I am feeling a lot better today thaan the past few days. The headache that lasted forever is mostly gone, but the sciatic nerve in my back is acting up already. I don't remember that happening until later with Dan, at least until after I was showing. Oh well, just grin and bear it I guess. I have my doctors appointment on Thursday. Hopefully I'll get to set up an U/S for before we leave here.
So Gary is at Priesthood and I am entertaining Dan. He's actually entertaining himself by getting into the cupboard - his new favorite pastime. Maybe we'll watch a movie. Either way, I need to go wrangle him out of the cupboards.
