It seems as though I just wrote about Jack's 3-month checkup last week! I can't believe he is 6 months old already. He did really well at his appointment. He is 27.5 inches long (82nd percentile) and weighs 14 lbs 7 oz (4th percentile). His doctor said that due to his activity level his weight plateaued sooner than other babies his age. He reccommended we start feeding him solid foods other than cereal, though he said it won't provide him any extra calories. He is a very active 6 month old is all - that and he probably has a genetic predisposition for being slim. He got two shots today, but handled them really well - only a little bit of crying, though he has been constantly sucking him thumb since.
I had a nice visit with my friend Becky and her kids yesterday. They came over for dinner. (Her husband is working in Logan and Gary was at a ward welfare assignment.) After dinner her baby Gavin (who is 16 months old) was crawling around, and playing with Jack, who was in his walker. Becky and I were talking and when we turned around to watch the boys, Gavin had climbed onto the tray of the walker and was sitting cross-legged, looking at Jack. It was so cute, I wish we would have gotten a photo.
