I took the boys to Liberty Park today to let them play at the playground before our weather cooled down again. They enjoyed climbing on the play structure & going down the slides. They were joined by three other small kids, one of whom insisted on jumping on the bridge & nearly gave me a heart attack when Jack almost fell off of it because of his jumping. There was a school group of some sort having an activity nearby & we quickly abandoned the structure when the big kids took it over. We had a nice walk around the park instead. I made sure that Dan & Jack held hands & they did almost all the way around. It was so cute, I wish I had taken my camera this time. They are becoming friends (I think). They actually like to hold one another's hand (wonder how long that will last?) Jackson is very willing to do things Dan suggests like singing, saying a certain word or phrase, or playing with a certain something. Jack adores Dan & wants to be doing what ever he is doing most of the time. Jackson is even learning to not play with Dan's cars when Dan is playing with them, which is a huge step in quelling the screaming fits. I hope their relationship continues to improve & that their friendship gets even stronger. Hopefully the new little guy will fit in there somewhere when he is old enough.
