In our Primary they are encouraging each child to bring their scriptures on Sunday. They get a sticker every Sunday they bring them. Last Sunday I borrowed him a Book of Mormon from the ward library. It was a tough job getting him to give it back when church was over! I haven't been able to find a blue Book of Mormon for Dan in our boxes, so I went and bought him one at the distribution center today. He was so excited he carried it around for an hour when we got home. He loves having his own scriptures and is learning who all the people in the pictures in the front are. I told him I would make him a scripture bag and let him pick out some fabric at Walmart for it. He picked out Lightning McQueen fabric (of course). So I sat down tonight for an hour and sewed him up a little scripture bag. It is denim on the outside (didn't think Lightning McQueen was church appropriate), and his Lightning McQueen fabric on the inside. I haven't shown it to him yet, but I am sure he will love it and want to take it everywhere with him tomorrow.

What a cute idea to put Lightning Mcqueen in the middle. Jayden would have picked the same. I should get Jayden some scriptures now that he's in Primary.
